Blogging Modalities

There are a lot of cool ways for me to get information into this blog. If I'm not at the computer, I can create an email (to my blog) on my Palm -- it gets sent when I HotSync. Email-to-blog also lets me do what I call a "spray" -- simultaneously sending a message to the blog + Google Groups + a friend's email address. I can post pictures using Hello, and last week I discovered I can now post audio by phone (though that requires a long-distance call to California).

These days instead of emailing friends photos or Word documents, I'll create a blog entry for the picture/text and email the permalink.
