Barking dogs MP3 to keep burglars away

I found a 44-second MP3 of barking dogs. Should come in handy when leaving the house unattended.

  1. I have posted a YubNub command for this called "bark".

  3. Hi Chris - If you are running Windows XP, and have WinAmp installed, you could set up a Windows Scheduled Task to run a .bat file at a scheduled time. Make the .bat file look like this:

    "C:\Program Files\Winamp\winamp.exe" "C:\Documents and Settings\Jon\My Documents\Programming And Computers\dog.m3u"

and make dog.m3u look like this:

    #EXTM3U
    c:\junk\barking_dogs.mps.mp3
    c:\junk\barking_dogs.mps.mp3
    c:\junk\barking_dogs.mps.mp3

  4. I had an application called CrimeCatcher that allows you to play a barking dog whenever motion is detected on your PC camera.

Unfortunately I had it switched off when my flat was burgled.
