I have zero unread (I read and flag them as they come in all day). In total I have 1505 in the Inbox, with another 4-5000 throughout 50 sub folders. All of them read.
the interesting point it: how many mails have you in your spam gmail box? me: 156 if you track them each day you will obtain a pretty curve, does it reach a limit? (damn, I have to tore those info somewere)

Hi Jeff - I mean unread. My system differs a little bit from yours in that I move mail out of the inbox after I read them.
